Planning to do some camping, but want something more than a roadside stop? Our most popular expedition, this trip is the North Island explorer's gem. Discover the pure beauty of New Zealand with this river's many wonders - especially the thermal pools.

This trip is filled with options and can be run in any number of ways. To begin your travels, you choose how you would like to access the river. We provide our clients with three options: a single day guided trek, multi-day guided trek or a helicopter ride over the Kaweka Mountain Range. The length of your trip is all up to you. If you would like to slow the pace down or stick around and fish for a trophy trout, we can definitely accomodate. We can even help you keep in touch with your business using our satellite phone.

Ngaruroro River Grade 3: A Two Day Expedition

The Ngaruroro River has some of the most incredible scenery and whitewater you could ever want. Remote native forests, beautiful mountain views and clean, clear, blue water.

Let us take you down this beautiful gorge run that gradually builds into grade III rapids before spilling out into a braided section before the take out.

This is a special 2 day trip through the North Island mountains. Due to the mountainous nature of this trip, it is reliant on flow and may be unrunnable during a very dry summer - so book for the early season (Nov - Jan)!
